Hi Barbara,
I've just discovered your site and think its great.Your pictures are terrific and I love your sense of humour. I too had a Sindy in my 1960's childhood and played with her for hours.I'm so pleased there are other people who share my passion and understand what its like to love Sindy. As I'm from Australia it was great to see a few entries from fellow Aussies in your guestbook as well. Thank you so much for providing this wonderful site.

Found your site and love it and your sense of humour. We had such fun growing up with Sindy!
I've just found my way back to her (after being forced to give her up by Mum who then gave her to my cousin).
My older sister had 60's girls but mine were all late 70's early 80's.
Great fun looking at your stories - hope you have more to tell :-)
best wishes

Hi! I loved reading about your collection and helps to make me feel I am not weird for collecting them! I have a particular liking for the 70s dolls since my first Sindy was a 76 active. I have kept her and the remaining dolls safe for years before finally putting them on display! I came the long way round - began by collecting bears then dolls house gear before finally returning to Sindy! Love reading about other people's collections and their route to Sindy collecting!

I have just read the Location, Location, Location story and all I can say is "WOW" and I am not even a dumb blonde.
Just terrific! I thought the flavour of the dialogue was absolutely spot on. "WOW"!
Great stuff Barbara, very entertaining, keep it coming.

Hi Barbara,
I love you site. It is very amusing and interesting. I live in Australia and have just started collecting Sindys myself, having had one as a child which my sister destroyed. I bought my first Sindy from Jules a little while ago, a belly dancer, and since then I have gone mad. These beautiful little gals are very addictive. Keep up the great work.

Hi Baby Sister,
As a HUGE Kirsy and Phil fan had to say that you had them to a T!!! I just know that the girls and boys will love their new home - it will give them acres of space to find new fixtures and fittings!! I just love guessing what the girls have ordered from their e-bay friends when their parcels arrive most days!! Having seen the kitchen I just wish we had not ripped out our orange kitchen when we moved to our house here.
Keep up the excellent, hilarious website sis.
Love, Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Barbara -
WOW! I can't tell you how much I enjoy your website. What a trip down memory lane. You've inspired me to expand my collection of one lonely 80's Sindy. After viewing your addictive site, I placed a few bids on eBay. (Leave a few raincoats for the rest of us ;) Since I'm a child of the 60s, I especially love the dolls and clothes from that era. Wish me luck! I want one of everything! Oh, the clothes!!! Wish I still had my old doll things. Since I'm not a millionaire, I'm trying to buy one or two things at a time, but it's so hard! I've simply GOT to have Lunch Date, and Cocktail Party and...
My sides are still splitting thinking about Paul's misadventures and the annoying Paparazzi. I voted for your site and I truly feel it's one of the best websites ever. I certainly have been entertained!
Great job on Miss Blacklock!
Thanks for the information and the fun reading. I look forward to more more more!!!

Hi Barbara,
What a lovely site this is. I've really enjoyed looking at all your girls. The photo's you have taken are amazing.
As a Sindy collector myself, one of my favourite things is seeing other peoples collections. It really warms my heart to think that there are so many of our beloved Sindy's being looked after by fellow collectors.
With love,
Ineke

I was about to sign this and read Annie's comment on 11th April... I was really moved. I have only just started to look for my Sindy as I cannot remember large parts of my childhood. I now know that she was Miss Beautiful Sindy in a blue dress and I'm hoping that I will eventually find one that I can cherish. Meanwhile I am loving all the websites I have discovered and am really charmed by so many Sindy's I have seen... No wonder she is one of the first positive memories to come back to me.
Thank you so much for putting this site together... you have made me very happy. Jo x

Hi there, LOVE your website. The cute picture of you and your sister with your sindy wallpaper really made me smile. Thank you for brightening my day! I only had the one Sindy, a late 1970s ballerina, but I ADORED her. Over the years I acquired a china cabinet and some crockery (remember those cute little champagne flutes? LOL!) A horse, and the lamp that really worked! I only had 3 outfits. A weekender dress, the ballerina outfit and the horsey outfit. I have no idea what happened to my Sindy things. I particularly hope that my Sindy herself has ended up in someones home either played with with a little girl, or made over as a OOAK and cherished by someone. Is it daft to feel guilty about abandoning your first Sindy?
Keep up the good work! Websites like yours is what makes the Internet a good place.

Hi Barbara, I've thoroughly enjoyed looking at your site this morning. All your stories are wonderful and really made me smile! They bring back lots of happy memories. How lovely that you still have your original childhood Sindys - wish I'd kept mine! I love your sense of humour and, hey, I also had an eye op when I was 4 years old to correct a squint. I'll certainly be coming back to look again. Mary xxx

Hi,
I am in my 50s. My fried Marilyn who
lived next door had lots of Sindys.
I never had a Sindy Doll ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I have collected other dolls for many
years. Bought a sindy case plus dolls at car boot I was hooked.
Your site is unique. I have tried a few Sindy sites but not really gone back. This site is natural and not
pretentious to me - I love Sindy dolls -
The actual art work of Sindy is unfounded - dont know how many I have -
but lots and I enjoy every minute in their company. - So heres to Sindy,
Pedigree and a British Brand name.
All the best see you soon , Sindykeeper

Hello Barbara, What a great fun site, I was so amused by all the stories. Quite took me back except my main doll was 'Little Miss Vogue'with her sexy undies & seamed stockings then I got a 'Tressy', wow! growing hair! 'Sindy' came later with my daughter and is now part of my growing collection. I will look forward to more adventures from the 'Middle Flat', I just loved your 'Marylin' how glam. Thanks Susan xx.

Barbara - Wow!! Your site has made me howl! I'm 48 and becoming a bit of a 'grumpy old woman' but you've brought all the good times back with your Sindy pictures and your hilarious comments. It's really cheered me up and I will recommend all my friends to take a look. What a trip down memory lane - I think I may go as far as saying that yours is the most down to earth and heartwarmingly touching and funny Sindy site that I have seen. Excellent! Donna x
